Elko County Commissioner Delmo Andreozzi discussed a variety of issues in advance of the county meeting to include reaction to SB 316 as well as early concern on the recent unanimous Nevada Supreme Court ruling to require jury trials for those accused of misdemeanor Domestic Violence. The commissioner also discussed county support for Next Gen 911 services, the Elko County Ambulance training plans, and a salary study for county employees with a goal to enhance equitable wages and commensurate salaries.
Elko City Councilwoman Mandy Simons appeared on “Elko, Live” to update several ongoing city issues. From the Swimming Pool repair to work on the Elko Regional Sports Complex, the council is also closing in on a final budget plan in time for a May 28th deadline.
