Zero Suicides Elko County

Lynette Vega is co-founded of the local advocacy group, “Zero Suicides Elko County.” She and Wendy Charlebois appeared on Wellness Wednesday to talk about ending the stigma of getting help for mental illness and supporting friends, family and colleagues who are supporting loved ones as well. The group is collaborating with several agencies, including NNRH, to offer free training for how to best respond to anyone contemplating suicide. Wellness Wednesday is sponsored by Vitality Integrated Program Services, a complete behavioral community health clinic.
