Family Resource Center is hosting an evidence-based Healthy Teens
program for youth ages 10 to 12. This lively, age appropriate
program is proven effective in reducing the risk of sexually
transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and teen pregnancy. Incorporates
medically accurate information along with crucial knowledge on how
to identify and handle social pressures. Youth learn about
adolescence, hygiene, responsibility, avoiding risky behaviors, and
build knowledge and confidence.
Those who attend both days of class receive a free backpack full of
school supplies or a $25 gift card to Marshall’s or JCPenney.
Parents of youth who complete the program receive a free $15 gas
card. *One free incentive allowed per teen per year. 331 7th St. in
Elko. Permission slips required signed by parent/guardian. Please
