Elko City Vice Mayor Mandy Simons gave an update on the water modernization plan, clean up at Shady Elms Mobile Home Park and invited area residents to apply for vacancies on the City of Elko Parks and Recreation Advisory Boards. The City Fire Department is hosting a Fire Prevention Open House on Thursday, October 3rd at the fire station at 911 West Idaho St.
