Superintendent of Elko County Schools CJ Anderson discussed Owyhee Combined school construction now that a bid has been awarded to MGM Construction. The School District is also grappling with maintenance and construction needs with a dwindling capital fund. The Elko County School Year Calendar is a topic of discussion as the Board of Trustees meets in regular session Tuesday, February 18th. There are numerous special events and activities ranging from Spelling Bee, Speech & Debate and CTE Month.
