Elko County Sheriff Aitor Narvaiza and City Police Chief Tyler Trouten discussed local law enforcement issues ranging from access to private property while hunting to the annual NAMI Walk to highlight mental health on October 19th. The sheriff also discussed the recent 9th Circuit ruling concerning booking photos; while the chief promoted cleanup, evictions and addressing hazards at the Shady Elms Trailer Park on Elko’s south side.
